We found that as we read Jesus' answers to others, they also applied to us and our perceived problems. We felt Jesus to be a very strong presence as we read this material. I am reading the book, "The Mirror on Still Water" and it is so wonderfully helpful I can't begin to describe. I am also reading ACIM and I feel it is absolute truth. From the book, "Mirror" I get the feeling that there has to be a higher power directing Joel in his writings. There is no ego in the words, just clear, beautiful truth.

I am beginning to feel the glimmerings of true peace of mind, peace of God. I am making fewer decisions on my own and I can tell the difference. When I make a decision from ego, it turns out painful, but when I step back and let the spirit direct me, I feel happier and more at peace. Thanks for recommending the book. — T.C.
